Niavi, Marianna

Marianna Niavi holds an LL.B from the University of Thrace, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree, and a postgraduate diploma from the Athens University of Economics and Business, where she specialized in tax. She joined the firm in 2011 and focuses on tax law and litigation, including disputes arising from corporate taxation and regular and preliminary audits such as accounting disallowances, withholding tax, tax refunds and tax penalties relating to Greek income tax, the application of the Code of Books and Records, stamp duty, value added tax, the application of double tax treaties, customs duties and municipal taxes. Her practice includes commercial and tax litigation as well as tax and customs disputes before the Greek Administrative Courts. She speaks Greek, English and German.
