Lazaridou-Elmaloglou, Ioanna

Ms Lazaridou - Elmaloglou heads the firm’s Corporate & Commercial department. She holds an LL.B from the University of Athens and an LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Bristol. Ms Lazaridou - Elmaloglou specializes in M&A, where she has built a strong background over the past few years by dealing with multi-million acquisitions in various sectors (e.g. tourism, energy and commercial real estate), for which she has dealt with demanding due diligence and restructuring projects and numerous corporate governance matters. Her recent publications include, the Greece chapter (with Athanassia Papantoniou) on “International Execution against Judgment Debtors” published by Oxford University Press in 2008 and re-published in 2010 the Greece chapter on Mergers and Acquisitions in the Practical Law Company Handbook: M&A 2007/2008, the Greece chapter (with Dr. Yannis Kelemenis) in the European M&A Review 2007/2008 and in the European M&A Review 2008/2009 (with Dr. Yannis Kelemenis and Tom Kyriakopoulos), and the Greece chapter on Public Procurement in the “Getting the Deal Through” series published by the International Bar Association and the Global Competition Review. She is fluent in English and German.
